The application process at Kidspace
Step by step – this is how the application process works with us:
The quick way to apply for a job at Kidspace is to use the online form that you find under each job description. If there is no suitable position for you, we would also be happy to receive a proactive application from you. Just send us an email with your resume to the following email address: karriere@kidspace-hamburg.de.
As soon as we receive your application, it will be reviewed by our HR department. We will contact you as soon as possible and arrange a personal interview at our office. We will then get to know each other better in a personal interview. Here you can ask all your questions and learn more about our vision, our image of the child and our values. Afterwards we will show you our Kidspace facility.
During your work shadowing you will gain insight into our work. You can explore our facility, get to know our colleagues and our children. In this way, we can jointly assess in which team you would be best suited and how you can best contribute to our work. A visitation takes place in the morning. After the visit, we will get together for a short feedback session to reflect on your impressions of the day. What did you notice? What impression were you able to take away from this morning? Can you see yourself on this team? Listen to your gut feeling and feel free to give us honest feedback!
If we are both convinced that we can be there together for our kids at Kidspace, we will make you an offer. And we will be happy if it meets your expectations. We want you to make a conscious and well-considered decision, because if you do, we want to go the long way with you!
Here we go! We are happy to welcome you to our Kidspace team! In the first days and weeks there will be a lot of new information and processes for you. It’s good that we have a team that can give you first-hand reports and will accompany you more firmly in the first days. We also live feedback and will invite you at least twice in the first month. In a relaxed atmosphere, we take time for an extensive exchange. How did you get on? What is fun and where is there still a problem? Where can we support you and what material do you still need for your work with us?
We give each other the time for familiarization, which we like to call “settling-in”.
